Any information on the cheats that will be released for the Sims 3 is just speculation at the moment. Unless you work for the company yourself you’ll have no idea what is possible and what is not possible within the new version of the game.
Whether there will be another cheat with the same huge scale of ‘boolprop testingcheatenabled true’ that we saw in the Sims 2, we’ve no idea, but can only hope! For huge fans of the game this cheat allows you to further expand families, stories and achievements beyond the constraints of the game. Yet from what we’ve seen of the Sims 3, are there really going to be many constraints at all? As the game progresses it just gets more and more lifelike, whilst at the same time allowing complete fantasy to take hold.
In the Sims 1 and 2 we saw simple money cheats (’rosebud’ in the first edition of the game and ‘kaching’ in the second to gain 1000 simoleons) and we don’t expect that the Sims 3 will be any different, either. What the money cheat password will be we don’t know and may even have to wait a month or two after the game is released to find out. We’ll be searching for it from day one and updating here regularly, so keep checking back for news on possible Sims 3 cheats just before and any time after the game is released.
In the past Sims cheats have been spectacular, allowing us to do things within the game that people who are unaware could only dream of. What we’re wondering for the Sims 3 release is whether there will actually be a need for cheats or not! From what we’ve heard gameplay is going to be vast, with thousands of different possibilities, so prepare to be bowled over for a couple of months before you even start considering cheats!
